Gps Sync & Timing Solutions

Tekron International has more than a decade at the forefront of design and implementation of GPS Synchronization systems for all the applications requiring precise, rugged and reliable timing. The entire production of both standard, and custom solutions takes place in the headquarters of Wellington, New Zealand.

Tekron's product range is mainly oriented to industrial uses, with a specific focus on energy distribution infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Transport and Telecommunications applications. They offer excellent accuracy, flexibility of use and robustness.

The TCG 02-G is a highly accurate, full featured GPS and GLONASS Clock. With enhanced cyber security features that support NERC CIP requirements, the TCG 02-G is designed for use in modern day smart grid and substations, electricity distribution, transmission, generation protection and control systems. This master clock synchronizes multiple IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices) within a network, including IEC 61850 protection relays and remote telemetry units, as well as E1/T1 transmission equipment. The TCG 02-G is available as a base unit or with one of three expansion module options. Options include:

- One or two Ethernet ports, with optional NTP or PTP output

- T1/E1 time signal outputs

The TCG 01-G is a GPS and GLONASS Clock that provides sub-microsecond time synchronisation solution. With enhanced cyber security features that support NERC CIP requirements, the TCG 01-G is designed for use in modern day smart grid and substations, electricity distribution, transmission and control systems. The clock synchronizes multiple industrial control and SCADA devices, including protection relays and remote telemetry units, for accurate time stamping. The TCG 01-G supports IEEE 1588 v2 (PTP) and IEC 61850. Options include:

- NTP server output

- PTP precision time protocol

The NTS 02-E is an accurate and reliable 3-port Network Time Server for synchronizing control and SCADA networks. In addition to electrical isolation and robustness, new features such as remote configuration, added security, and support for Ethernet networking, make the NTS 02-E ideal for use in power plants and substation environments. The NTS 02-E supports DC IRIG-B (Un-modulated, DCLS - C37.118), User defined pulses, NTP/SNTP (IEC 61850), SNMP v1, v2c & v3. Options include:

  1. -3 NTP/SNTP Ports with Copper or Fiber Ethernet options

  2. -IRIG-B (DC) Output

TTM 01-G

The TekTime TTM 01-G is a reliable and accurate GPS and GLONASS (GNSS) clock with sub-microsecond timing that is used to synchronize IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices) in the power industry and other industries where precise and reliable timing is required. As with all Tekron GPS clocks, the TTM 01-G has electrically isolated outputs, providing excellent noise immunity. The TTM 01-G supports both NTP/SNTP and PTP (IEEE 1588 v2).

Tekron ITR Signal Repeater

ITR are compact DIN-rail-mounted signal repeater units that convert time sync signals from copper or fibre input to copper and fibre output, providing electrical isolation between equipment being synchronised. This allows signals from one time source to be distributed throughout a facility without fear of noise or ground potential rise problems.

A reliable and accurate GPS clock for LTE The TK LTE 42 is a plug-in board specifically designed for use in Long Term Evolution (LTE) cellular network base stations.The clock outputs 10MHz and 1PPS differential signals and will continue to operate in extreme temperature variations. The clock has typically 5 µs of drift in a 24hr period whilst under holdover.

Tekron NTS 03-E

The NTS 03-E is a secure, accurate and reliable 6-port NTP Time Server for synchronizing control and SCADA networks. In addition to electrical isolation and robustness, new features such as remote configuration, added security, support for Ethernet networking, and optional PTP support, make the NTS 03-E ideal for use in power plants and substation environments. The NTS 03-E supports DC IRIG-B (Unmodulated, DCLS -C37.118), User defined pulses, NTP/ SNTP (IEC 61850), PTP (Supports Power Profile - C37.238), SNMP v1, v2c & v3. Options include:

  1. -3 or 6 NTP/SNTP ports with copper or fiber Ethernet options

  2. -PTP (IEEE 1588v2) Master/ Slave function

  3. -Redundant power supply

Tekron ITD

The Isolated Timing Distributor provides a simple method to reticulate unmodulated IRIG-B between rooms and/or rows of substation panels while maintaining electrical isolation. The device receives TTL HCMOS or fiber signals and regenerates simultaneously on four channels over either TTL or Fiber. Balanced and isolated inputs and outputs provide excellent noise immunity.

Tekron PTP Traslator

The PTP Translator is a compact DIN-rail mount device that translates PTP (default, power and telecommunications profiles) to legacy time codes such as IRIG-B, DCF77 or user defined pulses. The PTP Translator enables you to migrate to PTP without having to incur the expense of replacing all your equipment that don’t support PTP.

Tekron PRPTP Translator

The PRPTP Translator is a compact DIN-rail mount device that translates PTP (Default, Power, and Telecommunications Profiles) to legacy time codes such as IRIG-B. The PRPTP translator connects directly into a PRP enabled network, reducing the requirement for a RED box. The PRPTP translator enables you to migrate to PTP and Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) networks whilst leveraging the benefits of network redundancy over an Ethernet Backbone, as well as the sub microsecond precision and redundancy capabilities of PTPv2 (IEEE1588v2).
